A Book To Read

I have to admit, when The Shack by William P. Young was first recommended to me I was skeptical. I read online that the book centered around a tragedy and that it was religious. Well since the passing of my own mom, tragedy is something that I cannot handle well and therefore was worried I'd be in tears throughout the book. Let me tell you, yes, the book is based on a tragedy but it is so much more. It is a most read. It really made me think about my own life and my own actions. I don't want to give away too much for those who have not read it. For those who have read it, let's chat.

  1. ok well this little box does not have spell check so loard help me. I have raised my children to know that if anything the most important thing is your own personal realenship with Jesus. Thsi book really confirmed that for me. Even though I know this book is not true, this was one mans beliefs that I agree with. I love the humor that that was protrade in God. I know alot of "Jesus freaks" have a problem with this. But I guess their god doesnt have a personality like "mine" does:) I borrowed this book then loaned it out to another friend without telling the book owner (sorry Debbie) but I think I need my own copie because I really want to read this book outload with all of my kids. Im not really sure who the person was that was the lady that was in the cave there to judge him???? I will be passing out your blog address again in the hopes that a few friends of mine that have been wanting to talk about the shack will. I know a few of them need to register for google so maybe now they will.
